Showcase:

On October 12 and 13 the showcase will be held, where 23 Georgian newcomer bands will participate.
On the 12th of October the Festival administration will listen to twelve bands and on the 13th of October -to other eleven.
Each band will perform two songs- one their own and another a well-know cover.
The Best performers will participate in the concert, Tbilisi Alter/Vision/newcomers, held on October 23, 2009, at the Sports Palace.

Music Festival

About:
In the frame of Tbilisi City Holidays (“Tbilisoba”) in October 2009 the Show Case will be held for modern, young professionals – Tbilisi Alter/Vision/newcomers. Best musicians will get a chance to perform at the Tbilisi Alter/Vision festival in May 2010. The application submission process for participation in Show Case will start on 22nd of September and last till 5th of October.

Interested musicians should submit the following documents:

1. CD (at least 3 songs)
2. Video (if available)
3. Photo
4. Biography

Short listed candidates will have rehearsals from 7th to 12th of October. The Show Case will be held on 12th of October, where the musicians will perform live for jury. Starting from October 13th to October 22nd the short listed bands will start active preparation and rehearsals for the concert. On October 23rd the concert, Tbilisi Alter/Vision/newcomers will be held at Sport's Palace. Selected musicions will perform in it. The festival administration will give the best musicions a stage on the festival, Tbilisi Alter/Vision held in May 2010. The participation in Festival will enable young musicians to step into and strengthen on the international musical scene.
The concert on 23rd of October will be closed by the performance of two European bands at Sport's Palace.
Specially invited DJ will perform on October 23 and 24 at the night club.
